William Cartner

William Cartner was born about 1768 in England, and he died about 1823 in Cooper County, Missouri.

He married Mildered. She was born about 1776 in England, and died after 1840 in Missouri.

They came, with their children, in 1820 from Carlisle, England to the United States, and settled in Cooper County shortly thereafter.

Their children are:

1) Jane Cartner, born about 1798, m: John Nanson

2) James Cartner, born about 1800, and died 1846, m1: <unknown>, m2: Mary Rennison

3) Mary Cartner, born about 1803

4) Thomas Cartner, born 1805

5) Lucy Yates Cartner, born 1808, m1: Thomas Herndon Pearson, m2: Isaac Brown

6) William Cartner, born 1810, m: Kesiah Robinson

7) John Cartner, born 1812

8) Joseph Cartner, born about 1814
